Resthook are actually exactly the same as Webhooks*. However, their docs are a good introduction on scenarios you got to keep in mind when setting up webhooks. They also got a few basic case studies on how others implemented webhooks.

*) The only difference they state is that Resthooks can be subscribed to via REST as opposed to via a webform, which is a rather obvious step to take and something Jeff Lindsey already mentioned years ago.]]></description>
